Backpacker: 45 to 60 EUR per person per day. Fan or basic aircon rooms, joined tours, ferries and vans, local eateries.
Comfort: 110 to 160 EUR per person per day. Good boutique hotels, private airport transfers, a mix of joined and private boats, restaurants.
Premium: 260 EUR and up per person per day. Resorts such as those in Lio, Amanpulo or Panglao, private boats every day, domestic business class where it exists.
The items travellers systematically forget: environmental fees, terminal fees on domestic flights, port fees, and the 3 to 5 EUR per person collected on almost every island hopping tour.
